Milan Fashion Week SS 25: Versace, Prada, Moschino, And More Dominate The Runway
Fashion lovers feasted on a stunning array of largely womenswear ensembles for Spring-Summer 2025 on the third day of Milan Fashion Week. From Versace's dazzling displays of delight to Prada's reinvented classics, designers offered a novel perspective on fashion, promoting designs that accentuate uniqueness and individuality!

Here's a detailed breakdown of the fashion highlights:
Prada - The Eras Tour
The "Prada Eras Tour" idea was embraced by Miuccia Prada and co-creative director Raf Simons for their Spring/Summer 2025 collection. With a futuristic twist, they presented a range of reinvented Prada designs that whimsically nodded to earlier decades, paying homage to the brand's rich legacy.
Signature pieces from the collection include a clanking leather sheath elevated with hardware pieces, A-line treated leather skirts with circular cutouts and skirts inspired by the 1990s hanging from belt rings. The combination of ribbed leggings placed beneath sheer tulle skirts and high-waisted pants with trompe l'oeil belts produced an avant-garde yet sophisticated look.
Max Mara - Art Of Origami
Ian Griffiths, creative director opted for the intricate origami craft to mould Max Mara's Spring-Summer 2025 collection. The brand's dedication to classic, clean design is demonstrated by the collection's monochromatic colour scheme, which also highlights Griffiths' attention to craftsmanship with some surprising twists.

Sensual details like bralette, slits, and cutouts were combined with asymmetrical jackets inspired by the 1980s to create chic ensembles like draped dresses and skirts. Their collection will make a powerful option for ladies who like to mix being elegant and bold and unafraid to showcase flamboyancy through their outfits!
Moschino - The Black Canvas
Adrian Appiolaza's Spring-Summer 2025 collection for Moschino opened with a blank canvas. An old photo of Franco Moschino wrapping a white sheet served as the inspiration for the complex silhouettes that were presented on the runway.

Appiolaza showcased Moschino's signature look by experimenting with trompe l'oeil, graphic prints, and exaggerated proportions. One particularly noteworthy outfit was a small black dress, or "tubino," worn on the front and a floral set worn on the back. The final piece boldly titled "Tubino or not to Tubino?" highlighted the brand's distinctive approach to fusing humour and high-end fashion.
Emporio Armani - Blend Of Masculinity And Femininity
In its Spring-Summer 2025 collection, Emporio Armani experimented with the harmony of masculine and feminine energy. For day wear, the collection's carefree, gender-neutral vibe was embodied by the flowing pants and soft jackets, which were paired with belted tunics and professional suits. Not your typical outfits, bandeau tops under jackets with sequins added a fun element to evening wear.

Shoes were just as creative, with woven boots complementing a few of the ensembles. The colour scheme changed as the performance went on, moving from subdued neutrals to vivid shades embellished with beads and sequins, making the day-to-night transition effortless and inspiring!
Versace - Rebellion Spirit
The Spring-Summer 2025 collection by Donatella Versace was a celebration of happiness, spontaneity, and liberation. The collection, "Joy is a statement," included eye-catching designs, bold hues, and whimsical silhouettes that exuded an enthusiastic mood.

From flowing skirts to structured suits, every item in the collection exuded energy and offered plenty of alternatives for both formal and casual attire. One of the globally sought-after brands provided a much-needed dose of optimism to the runway with a collection, which is both wearable and has an essence of liberation!
