On Chaitra Navratri, nine forms of Durga are worshipped and colors are an important part of it. In Hinduism, color is associated with certain qualities. Day 1 - Blue, Goddess Shailaputri

Day 2 - Yellow, Goddess Brahmacharini

Day 3 - Green, Goddess Chandraghanta

Day 4- Brown/Gray, Goddess Kushmanda
Brown or gray should have the same feeling of sorrow or joy because nothing is eternal in the land of death. This is the message given by gray or brown color. The brown or gray color is essential on the fourth day of Navratri.
Day 5 - Orange, Goddess Skandamata
Orange color is a symbol of enthusiasm, courage, and bravery. Somewhere it is related to Shakti and Maa Durga is the Goddess of Shakti. That's why they especially like this color. Maa Durga's blessings are showered by using this color full of positive energy on the fifth day.
Day 6 - White, Goddess Katyayani
The sixth day is associated with white color. White is a symbol of purity and chastity. Inner purity has special importance in Navratri. Wearing clothes of this color has a strong effect on the mind, so wear white clothes on the sixth day and get the blessings of the mother.
Day 7- Red, Goddess Kalaratri
The seventh day is associated with colour red. The red color is a symbol of passion and affection. This colour is especially liked by Goddess because you must have seen that Durga's chunri is red. Wear red clothes for the enthusiasm of devotion and connection with the mother. Goddess Durga will communicate enthusiasm and power in your life.
Day 8 - Blue, Goddess Mahagauri
The blue colour is a symbol of vastness and infinite power. It is also called sky colour. Goddess Durga likes blue colour on the eighth day. It also gives the message that Goddess' power is immense and her grace is infinite.
Day 9- Pink, Goddess Siddhidatri
Pink color symbolizes love and harmony. This colour creates attraction and helps in gaining energy. This colour also helps in imbibing the blessings of your mother easily. Wear pink coloured clothes on the ninth day.
