Fruit Coolers Recipe: How To Make Natural Fruit Coolers At Home
Fruit coolers are attractive yet healthy natural fruit drinks that are refreshing and have a great cooling effect. Here is a step-by-step procedure on how to prepare the various fruity summer coolers
Summer coolers, as the name suggests, give a nice cooling effect to one during the scorching summer heat. Summers are full of variety of fruits which cool down your body and contain more than 60 % of water.
It is often advised to ditch soda drinks and go for the natural fruit coolers during summers like aam panna, coconut water, etc. Kids would especially love having these summer coolers to beat the heat. These healthy and surprisingly delicious coolers contain all the essential nutrients one would require during the summer time.
However, summer coolers can be prepared at any time of the year in India, as it does not see extremely cold winters. The best thing about these coolers are that they are really healthy and have really eye-catching colours, which would for sure attract the little hungry ones. So, try these summer coolers at home and beat the heat with total energy.

Watermelon (diced) - ½ cup
Jamun (diced) - ½ cup
Peach (diced) - ½ cup
Mango (diced) - ½ cup
Coconut water - 2 cups
Basil leaves - 8-10
Kala namak/black salt - ½ tsp

Watermelon cooler
1. Blend together half cup of watermelon, ¼th tsp of black salt, and half cup of coconut water with lots of ice.
2. Pour in an individual serving glass and serve chilled.
3. You can garnish the same with basil or mint leaves.
Jamun cooler
1. Blend together half cup of jamun, ¼th tsp of black salt, and half cup of coconut water with lots of ice.
2. Pour in an individual serving glass and serve chilled.
3. You can garnish the same with basil or mint leaves.
Peach cooler
1. Blend together half cup of peach, 4-5 basil leaves, and half cup of coconut water with lots of ice.
2. Pour in an individual serving glass and serve chilled.
3. You can garnish the same with basil/mint leaves or a slice of peach.
Mango cooler
1. Blend together half cup of mango, 4-5 basil leaves, and half cup of coconut water with lots of ice.
2. Pour in an individual serving glass and serve chilled.
3. You can garnish the same with basil/mint leaves or a small slice of mango.
- 1. These quantities are good for 1 large serving for each cooler.
- 2. Please adjust the liquid/fruit ratio according to the consistency you prefer.
- 3. You can add any sweetener of your choice if you wish.
