Don’t Tell Your Kid These 5 Things!
Do you think your little one is naughty? According to experts, parents should pull themselves together and not react when their child is angry. If you are that parent saying things to your children during an argument, without thinking about it, you are probably doing more harm than good.
There are certain things not to say to your child at any given moment. Boldsky shares with you some of the things to keep mum about.
Yes, one of the hardest things to learn as a parent is how to talk to the little ones. No doubt, it is easy to say something that gives them the wrong idea or message. The worst part is that you may not even realise it.

Here are some of the things not to say to your child, take a look:

Leave Me Alone
One of the things not to say to your child is this - Leave me alone and come after some time. If you routinely tell your child not to bother you, children internalise the message and feel they have no importance in your life. Parents should understand this and make time for their children no matter what.

Negative Labelling
Negative labels -- You are so lazy or You are so slow -- will tend to demotivate the child. Parents need to be careful what they tell their children as there is a higher tendency they may also develop into whatever is being said about them.

Practise Makes You Perfect
Though this is a motivational message, there are other meanings to it. Experts state that this is one of the things never to tell kids. The reason is that this statement sends the message that if you made mistakes, you didn't train hard enough to be perfect.

Be Like Your Brother / Sister
The worst thing to do is to compare the siblings or your children with each other. Comparing your kids implies you wish they were different and not who they are.

Do It, Because I Said So!
As a parent, you want to get things done with your child. However, you don't want your children to feel they have no input or growing autonomy. So, telling them to do something you want them to do is one of the things not to say to kids.
