Things No One Tells You Before You Become A Mother!
Motherhood is probably one of the greatest experiences a woman can have in her life time.
Right from the ancient scriptures to the modern-day philosophies, every piece of literature ever written about motherhood speaks of it as one of the biggest commitments and sacrifices.
While it is true that both parents of a child equally contribute to the child's welfare, it is also a fact that a mother always puts her child's needs before her own!
Being a mother is no simple chore and it is often compared to some of the toughest jobs in existence.
Carrying a child in your body for 9 months, then going through the painful process of labour, taking care of the child, etc, can all be tremendously exhausting; however, a mother hardly complains!
Even before the baby is born, a pregnant woman may get to hear a lot of advice and suggestions from everyone regarding child care and motherhood.
However, there are a number of things no one tells you before you become a mother.
Have a look at some of the things you should know before you become a mom!

1. You Never Stop Learning
Just when you think you have mastered the art of putting on a diaper, you need to learn how to potty-train your kid because as your child grows up, you'll need to keep updating yourself with new things!

2. You Will Be Overwhelmed With Chores
When you have a new baby, the work never stops. Cleaning the baby, feeding him/her, pacifying him/her, it just seems like a never-ending list of tasks to perform!

3. The Sense Of Helplessness
Many a times, new mothers feel so overwhelmed with all the new responsibility and the anxiety of taking care of the fragile child, they may feel rather helpless and lost!

4. You Make Mistakes
New mothers, especially if it is their first baby, tend to make a few mistakes when it comes to child care. However, it is perfectly okay and the mother should not put herself down due to this.

5. Loss Of Privacy
Once you have a child, spending quality time with yourself and pampering yourself is no longer a priority, as your baby will need you more!

6. The Challenge Of Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding is not an easy technique to learn and it can be sloppy, painful and awkward initially, until you learn to master it!

7. Your Body Changes
There will be some permanent changes that'll happen to your body, after the baby comes, like weight gain, sagging tummy, stretch marks, etc. However, you will eventually learn to be okay with it!
