IBFW: Gold Inspired Shantanu n Nikhil
The much awaited India Bridal Fashion Week 2013 has kick started and ace fashion designers have started showcasing their new collection on the ramp. Gorgeous models are getting all dressed up as traditional Indian brides to showcase the all new bridal collection of fashion designer.
The Day 1 of IBFW 2013 was glitzy as Shantanu and Nikhil showcased their To Die For Fall Winter 2013 collection. The designer duo presented their contemporary couture lines for the modern Indian bride. Shantanu and Nikhil showcased their bridal collection keeping the modern trends in mind. From sheer gowns to high low hem blouse lehengas, the bridal collection was just awesome!
Shantanu and Nikhil's 'To Die For' collection focused on the soft and beautiful bride who always embraces everything feminine and dotes on chic and contemporary fashion.
However, we saw a lot of golden work from Shantanu and Nikhil at IBFW 2013 ramp. The bridal collection shimmered like gold as models were wrapped in heavy outfits that had gold leaf and zari work on them. Check out the gold inspired Fall Winter collection of Shantanu and Nikhil from IBFW 2013 ramp.

Golden Blouse
The golden blouse has heavy work on it. Gold leaf petals have been used on the shoulders to make the blouse look heavier.
Golden Jacket
Shantanu and Nikhil used a lot of jacket in their traditional collection. The rage was actually started by Sonam Kapoor who wore a tape like jacket with a saree at the Cannes 2013 red carpet.
Golden Neckline
The neckline of this kurti has been covered with gold and silver petals.
Golden Bodice
The red gown has a heavy golden bodice which makes it look perfect.
Golden Embroidery
This black gown has a heavily embroidered bodice. The golden, red and patch work on the bodice of the gown which makes it look different.
Golden Gown
This golden gown is designed by Shantanu and Nikhil. The golden gown has intricate gold work on it which makes it look shiny and glittery!
Gold Embellishment
The plain white net gown has been heavily embellished with gold embellishment.
Gold Sleeve
Shantanu and Nikhil also used gold on the sheer sleeve of their bridal Fall Winter 2013 collection.
Golden Zari
The plain black suit have thick golden zari like cotton silk sarees. Even the bodice is golden in colour.
Golden Hem Top
This is a glittering gold inspired hem top that would look perfect on an Indian wedding!
Golden Borders
Be it a black anarkali suit or a black skirt, you can embroider it with golden zaris and stone work.
