Walter Isaacson, the former managing editor of Time magazine has written the book, Steve Jobs biography under the Simon & Schuster publishing house. The book has been written based on over 40 interviews with Steve Jobs, the Apple founder conducted in 2 years and over 100 conversations with the family members, friends, colleagues and competitors. Jobs's full cooperation with the author helped him to finish the book.
Walter Isaacson met Steve Jobs few days before his death. The poor health and the coming death of the mastermind has been mentioned at the end of the book.
Steve Jobs biography book has been ranked on the top of the bestseller book list on Amazon.com. Before the death of Steve Jobs, the book ranked 384th on Amazon.com but now it is the No. 1 with 521 likes! The book on Steve Jobs originally consisted of 448 pages but now it has been extended to 656 pages. Simon & Schuster has also provided the e-version with 200 extra pages on his life.
Steve Jobs biography book includes the unknown stories of his childhood and adolescence. It is not just the story on his business career. Walter Isaacson had already written best selling books on the biographies of Benjamin Franklin and Henry Kissinger.
According to the publishers, Steve Jobs did not ask for control over the content of the book and helped to put in unrevealed facts on his personal life said during the interviews.
