However, the key that could have saved the doomed ship 'Titanic", has now been found and is expected to fetch at least 70,000 pounds at an auction.
The crow"s nest key had been sold for 90,000 pounds in 2007 and the second key, with three others, is expected to make a similar sum in the sale at Devizes, Wiltshire.
They are being auctioned by Titanic historian Peter Boyd-Smith.
