Elizabeth Taylor Wanted To Be Late For Her Own Funeral?

Elizabeth Taylor, died due to congestive heart failure and was survived by four children, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The Oscar winner's service was scheduled to commence at 2 p.m but started 15 minutes later as per the actress' request.
Taylor's spokesperson when asked about the delay said : "She (Elizabeth Taylor) even wanted to be late to her own funeral."
Elizabeth Taylor's coffin was donned with colorful flowers, the violets and the lily of the valley, was interred at Forest Lawn's Great Mausoleum beneath the white angel. The service lasted for an hour with a reading by Gerard Manley Hopkins' poetry. "The Leaden Echo and the Golden Echo" by actor Colin Farrell, described as a "close friend" of Taylor. While Elizabeth Taylor's son, Michael Wilding, grandson and daughter Liza Burton Tivey. Her grandson, Rhys Tivey performed "Amazing Grace" on a trumpet.
Forest Lawn is also the burial place of many celebrities, including Walt Disney, Clark Gable and Jean Harlow.
