Johnny Depp turned out to be a real time hero to save the damasell in distress. Hollywood actor Johnny Depp saved Babybird frontman Stephen Jones from being mugging.

Johnny Depp and Stephen were recording in Los Angeles, where they confronted a robber outside the studio.

The robber was insane and threatened Stephen with a broken bottle in his hand. Johnny Depp jumped in to her rescue. He faced the robber and tried to calm him down.

Onlookers report, "This guy looked completely off his head. He had a broken bottle in his hand and he wanted some cash, but Johnny immediately stepped in. He told the guy he needed to calm down. The mugger then looked at Johnny and said: ''I ain't stealing from Captain Jack,'' and put the bottle down."

The Pirates Of The Carrabian star is a hero at heart and this act has sent many young hearts fluttering.
