Retired Chinese Man To Go On A 5000 Km Bike Journey!

A 70-year-old man in China plans to travel 5,000 kilometres on his new bike. Li Xianfeng, who is a retired teacher, hopes to tour five provinces and one municipality.

Xianfeng intends to visit the most historic spots and natural landscapes. He wants to satiate his love for ancient Chinese poetry, which depict natural scenery and historic sites, with the trip.

"I have had the idea in mind for years to pay a visit to these sights with my own eyes. I did a lot of homework searching for the destinations' history, culture and tales online," said Xianfeng.

Xianfeng will travel across Anhui, Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Jiangxi province as well as Suqian municipality in the Jiangsu province.

"It"s a challenge for me and I want to visit more places and learn from sightseeing before I get too old, " says the enthusiast.
