Musicians Recreate Beatles

Roger Greenawalt and David Barratt are aiming to re-record each of Beatles" 185 original compositions, using different singers for every hit.
The pair is publishing their work on their blog, 'Roger & Dave Present The Beatles Complete on Ukulele." The songs would be available for downloading every Tuesday.
For the first installment of the project, the pair released a cover of 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps" performed by Dandelion Wine, a New York-based group, in January 2009.
Since then they have extended their list of covers to 71 songs, including 'Yellow Submarine", 'Hey Jude" and the latest entry, 'Nowhere Man", sung by Emily Bindiger.
Each entry on the blog also contains a commentary on the song, detailing the history behind it and analysing the music and lyrics.
The next cover will be 'I've Just Seen A Face", performed by Mumtaz Jefri with a number of hits including 'Michelle", 'Strawberry Fields Forever" and 'Help" to follow later this year.
The project is scheduled to finish on July 31, 2012, the eve of the London Olympics, with a cover of 'The End", to be performed by 'Everybody."
