Comedian Eddie Izzard Cheers Up Mumbai Attack Victim

Will and his girlfriend Kelly Doyle, both 28 had been holidaying at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel while in India. Will broke three of his vertebrae, both his arms and shattered his pelvis, while trying to escape the hotel premise in a makeshift rope out of bedsheets when the terror attacks broke out.
As reported by the Times, he is currently recovering from his injuries in a South London hospital, as a consequence he had miss out the Eddie Izzard's show at the Lyric Theatre, London, last month. To cheer up his son, Nigel Pike wrote to the star asking him if he could send a note to Will, but in return the Pikes got more than they had hoped for.
After finishing his tour to a sellout audience, the cross-dressing comedian surprised Will at his sterile room in one of London's spinal cord units and performed his entire 90-minute show. Nigel Pike was moved by this gesture and told The Times that it was a "great thing to do" for his son.
Izzard's spokesperson declared that the star's visit to Will was a private affair and chose not to comment any further. AGENCIES
