How To Add Luxury Touch To Your Bedroom, 7 Deco Tips!
Wonder why we look forward to returning to a hotel room after a long and lovely outing? The prime reason is the way a hotel room is kept in terms of design and decor. From neatly made beds, and soothing lights, to impressive artwork on the wall, everything oozes luxury!
If you like going back to such resplendent interiors, then why not create the same vibe in your own bedroom? Yes, you can mirror the similar luxury vibe in your bedroom with some easy decor hacks. We will guide you through it! Here are 7 expert tips that make for a luxury bedroom design:

Select Soothing Colours
The primary requirement for bedroom design is to create a calm and soothing atmosphere. That's why it is recommended that you go for pastel, cool, or neutral colours. Keep the backdrop of the bedroom (including walls, ceiling and flooring) in soothing tones and elevate it with one or two accent colours.
Opt for Right Furniture
Include essential furniture pieces for your bedroom including the bed, nightstands, and accent chair. If your bedroom also holds a study or office zone, then include a desk (mostly it is extended with a TV unit) and study chair as well. Select the size of these furniture pieces as per the room size and layout. Also, make sure to keep the finishes of the furniture in the same tone. The exception could be an accent chair to create a sense of drama and attention!
Choose Quality Bed Linen
One of the easiest ways to introduce luxury in your bedroom is by adding quality bed linen. Make sure the mattress is of prime quality (i.e. ortho, ergonomic mattress) and layer it up with soft bed sheets, a comforter, and a quilt. If possible, go for plain or minimal print bed linen as it adds to a soothing effect.
Amp Up with Soft Furnishings
A bedroom design must include selective soft furnishings like accent cushions, floor cushions, a throw, curtains, and an area rug. Keep the print minimal and introduce a bold hue for one or two soft furnishings. For example, in a neutral-tone bedroom, a set of printed accent cushions or patterned rugs are enough to add a splash of colour and drama!

Include Layered Lighting
It is extremely crucial to introduce a layered lighting plan in the bedroom. Apart from the general or ambient light types like downlights, and ceiling mount lights, you must add task light choices like a table lamp and accent lights including wall sconces, a table lamp or a floor lamp. This will ensure you have different lighting requirements for different activities or needs.
Add Decor Accents
Just like a living room, a bedroom also requires a fair share of decor additions. The simplest way to achieve the same is to flair up the wall with lovely wall art, a few showpieces or mini sculptures on the shelves, and a mini plant or succulent for the nightstands. Make sure the colour and style of these accents match the theme of the bedroom. For example, in a modern-style bedroom, abstract wall art can make a perfect choice. Whereas in a traditional theme bedroom, a gold gilded flower vase is the finest solution to opt for.
Keep it Minimal
Lastly, ensure that the bedroom design and decor have a clean and sorted look. Avoid clutter at all costs and get rid of objects you don't require anymore. Keep the surfaces of furniture pieces, and walls occupied with objects but see that they are not adding a 'too-busy' outlook. Ideally, a bedroom should have a minimal, soothing and inspirational vibe to it!
