World Health Day 2026: You’re Not As Healthy As You Think—Here’s Why
How Fibre Rich Foods Aids In Weight Loss
Fibre is a plant-based roughage that aids in weight loss. Hence, if you want to lose weight, you must eat a considerable amount of fibre the correct way. Fibre not only helps you to shed weight, it also helps you to maintain your weight.
Fibre helps in losing weight as it keeps you satisfied for a long period of time and is low in calories. It curbs overeating as it regulates blood sugar levels. Fibre may be soluble or insoluble fibre.
Soluble fibre dissolves in water and forms a gel-like substance whereas insoluble fibre does not dissolve in water, but requires a lot of water to be flushed out of your system.

Eating fibre for fat loss is not necessarily difficult or based on deprivation. The significant thing to remember is to not load the fruits and vegetables down with a lot of salad dressings and toppings which are bad for you because it will only add to your weight.
Eating lettuce, carrots, tomato, cabbage along with other veggies in a salad is excellent. Using a small lemon or lime as the salad dressing is an excellent way to make the salad even better when trying to shed weight. There is not a single vegetable that is terrible for your health or your weight.

Many people think that potatoes are harmful for you, but the truth is they are excellent for you and an excellent food to eat while reducing weight. Whenever you put in a lot of butter and cheese on a baked potato, it is not good for you. Baked potatoes without all that material on it are an excellent food when dieting.

Apples, grapes, pears, peaches, bananas, papayas, etc. are excellent sources of fibre. Fruits have minerals and vitamins which are fantastic for you.
Mixing fruits to make a fruit salad is an excellent idea and makes an excellent snack or a breakfast. If you are in the mood for a snack like chips, popcorn makes an excellent replacement for that as it is low in calories.
