The JW Mariott Sahara was studded with Bollywood stars. And you would think what might be the reason? It was the night when fashion mavens and celebrities celebrated the 25 years of the ace designer Vikram Phadnis in the fashion industry.

His brilliant contributions to fashion field are remarkable and to acknowledge this fact we had a swarm of Bollywood biggies to felicitate Vikram for making them look divine.

Vikram works have sparkled beyond Indian runways. He has contributed voraciously in Bollywood movies and you might have seen his magic in Salaam-e-Ishq, God Tussi Great Ho, etc.

He is the man who brought the rural India style to fashion runways. He is also responsible for making Bollywood stars look so magical.

So if you were thinking that Deepika Padukone is gorgeous in so and so dress, think of it again. Half of that gorgeous element has come from the dedicated work of a designer. And Vikram revels in bringing the best out of stars.

Having said that, to honour Vikram for his years in fashion, there was a line of Bollywood stars, including veteran Amitabh Bachchan. And we enjoyed looking at them. Boy! What delight they were!
