Neem Chokha Recipe For Chicken Pox Prevention
The most dreaded season of chicken pox is here again. While most of us have contracted this disease in our childhood, for those who haven't, prevention is in your hands. It is extremely essential to boost your immunity and keep yourself safe against this dreaded infection.
To help you prevent this disease, today we have a very unique recipe for you. As the name suggests, the neem chokha recipe is prepared using neem leaves and mashed potatoes.

If you are thinking about the bitter taste of the neem leaves, then do not be worried. The neem leaves are first fried and then mixed with the potatoes which takes away the bitterness from the dish. Neem is an excellent antibiotic that helps your body to develop immunity against a lot of infections.
So, try this neem chokha recipe as a home remedy to prevent chicken pox this season.
Serves: 3
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Tender neem leaves- 1 bunch
- Potatoes- 2 (boiled and mashed)
- Salt- as per taste
- Turmeric powder- 1tsp
- Oil- 1tbsp
Procedure
- Wash and clean the neem leaves properly under running water.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the washed neem leaves to it.
- Add turmeric powder and salt, and fry on medium flame for about 5 minutes. Keep stirring continuously to avoid burning it.
- Once done, switch off the flame and add the fried neem leaves to the mashed potatoes.
- Allow the neem leaves to cool down.
- Once it cools, use your hands to mix the neem leaves with the mashed potatoes and serve.
