IIJW 2014: Dia Mirza Dazzles In Orange
The word is out in the fashion industry that orange is the new black. However, we were unable to appreciate this phrase fully until we saw Dia Mirza in a dazzling orange lehenga choli at IIJW 2014. It is just the first day of the India International Jewellery Week 2014 and we have already seen half a dozen hot celebrities on the ramp. Dia Mirza walked the ramp of IIJW 2014 for Shobha Shringar Jewellers.
Taking centre stage in an orange and gold lehenga, Dia looked serenely beautiful. This outfit and the dazzling jewellery that came with it can be defined as profoundly bridal. Something about the look captures the moments of pure celebration for a demure Indian bride. Dia Mirza outfit comprised of a golden choli that was short sleeved and had a deep neckline. She wore it with a plain orange organza lehenga and a drape of the same colour.

The jewellery from Shobha Shringar complimented her look very well. She displayed both gold and diamond jewellery. First she appeared in a gold tiara with pearl droplets, a massive jarao necklace with matching jhumkas and gold bangles. She also wore another set of diamond jewellery later as she walked down the ramp with the owners of the designer label.
This time around we saw Dia Mirza adorned with a diamond mang tikka, diamond necklace with matching chandelier earrings and also diamond studded kadas with handcuff bracelets. Dia looked splendid and that is the only way to describe the experience of seeing her walk on the runaway.
Last year, Shobha Shringar was represented by Mahima Chowdhury on the ramp. You can see the pictures here.
