Day 4 IIJW 2013: Bridal Jewellery From Laxmi
The Day 4 of IIJW 2013 began with a collection from Laxmi Jewellery. Although there were no stars walking for Laxmi Jewellery Exports, their collection was huge hit. If you had to define the beginning if Day 4 at IIJW 2013, it would be 'bridal'. The collection was filled with ethnic bridal jewellery through and through.
We have seen generous use of both gold and diamonds throughout the India International Jewellery Week 2013. But there was something distinctly bridal about the jewellery that was displayed in the Laxmi Jewellery Exports collection. The designs where a mix of traditional and contemporary styles.
Most of the bridal jewellery we say on Day 4 of IIJW 2013 was heavy and yet very wearable. If you are looking to select bridal jewellery for yourself, you can certainly make use of these sample designs. The models were all dressed in bright rani colour and red coloured lehenga cholis. The entire ambiance of the stage looked classically bridal.
Apart from the jewellery design, you can also take some styling tips from the Laxmi Jewellery Exports collection on Day 4 of IIJW 2013.

Beaded Necklace
The beauty of this choker-cum-necklace comes from the fact that all the golden beads are smooth and of the same size. The jhumkas are also compose dof medium sized golden beads and that makes them look very neat.

Head Jewellery
If you are a bride-to-be, you would seriously like to check out this head jewellery. The mangtikka is a perfect round golden disk with green details and a ruby studded in the centre. There is also an anarkali style mangtikka worn on the side of the head.

Rani Necklace
This collar necklace has a choker and a necklace under it. The rustic gold has both rubies and emeralds set in it.

Pearl Jhumkas
These jhumkas are slightly different as they have pearl droplets hanging from them. The mangtikka matches the earrings in aesthetics.

Jarao Necklace
This is a typical jarao necklace that has diamonds, rubies and emeralds studded into it. The necklace covers the entire neck and collar bones. The long earrings have a lovely combination of rubies, emeralds and diamonds in them.

Layered Necklace
This is something any bride would like to take a look at. The first part of the necklace is a solid gold collar necklace. The second layer of the necklace comprises of 3 strings of thick gold embellished with coloured stones.

Coin Necklace
The special feature of this bridal layered necklace is the coin pattern. The entire necklaces is comprised of golden coins of different sizes.

S-Shaped Earrings
The long and hanging jarao earrings are in the shape of a 'S'. This gives the look a very interesting twist.

C-Shaped Diamond Earrings
The diamond is cut in the shape of tiny leaves. It forms a semi-circular shape like a tilted 'C'. There is also a single emerald set into each of the earrings.

Square Emerald n Pearl
This rounded diamond necklace has a large square shaped emerald set in the centre. The necklace also has a tiny pearl droplet hanging from it.

Diamond n Emerald Necklace
This princess diamond necklace has 5 large diamonds set in it. The pendant is also a large emerald with diamonds all around it.

Diamond n White Gold Collar Necklace
This diamond and white gold necklace is a massive one. If you don't like yellow gold then go for this all white collar necklace on your wedding day.
