Showering With Hot Water
Hot water makes your skin dry and rough. It also deprives your skin from its natural oils and opens skin pores. Since hot water opens up closed skin pores, dust and other infections get trapped inside these skin pores causing many skin infections including acne. This is one of the things to avoid while bathing.

Drying Your Hair With Towel
Avoid rubbing your hair with a towel or tying it in a towel. This will break your hair shafts and cause split ends. Your hair is prone to damage when they are wet. Pat your hair gently with a soft towel and let it dry naturally in air. This is among the shower mistakes to avoid.

Combing While Washing Hair
Avoid combing your hair when they are wet. Most people comb their hair during shower or just after it. This will also damage your hair and result in hair breakage. It will also cause split ends in your hair. So always comb your hair when they are dry.

Using Body Scrub Daily
Most people use scrub daily during shower to exfoliate skin and to remove dead skin cells. However scrubbing your skin daily causes skin damage. It makes your skin dry and flaky. Natural oils present in your skin are also lost. You can scrub your skin twice weekly.

Shaving Before Shower
Shower will make your hair soft and will loosen the hair follicles. So it will be easy for you to shave after shower. You will get a clean shave and all hairs will be easily removed if you will shave your legs or beard after shower.

Not Cleaning Body Loofah
Most people use loofah during shower to clean their skin. Loofah cleans all the trapped dirt and impurities in your skin. However, if you will not clean your loofah if can cause many skin infections as loofah may carry many bacteria.
