Summer Skincare: How To Use Aloe Vera For Calming Your Skin In Summer
Aloe vera is widely used as a herbal remedy for topical skin conditions because it is known to heal the skin from a variety of minor ailments. It has been used as a medicinal herb for centuries.
Rich in nutrients, aloe vera improves digestion and boosts immunity when consumed. When it comes to aloe vera beauty benefits, its gel can enhance one's skin, especially the face and hair [1].

In India, summers are hot and humid- the worst combination for your skin, especially for those with sensitive skin.
Today, we will address How To Use Aloe Vera For Calming Your Skin during the summer months.
Aloe Vera For Skin: Benefits
Aloe vera was fondly referred to as the plant of immortality by the Egyptians. The plant and its gel play a vital role in addressing the concept of beauty. The beauty benefits of aloe vera gel are innumerable, tbh.
Among its many benefits, aloe vera is a cooling agent, a natural moisturiser, and provides intense hydration, making it an ideal summer skincare ingredient [2][3].
Obviously, aloe vera gel extracted directly from the plant is more beneficial than the store-bought variety.

- 1 pinch of turmeric
- 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- Few drops of rose water
Directions

- After applying the paste evenly to the face and neck, leave it on for approximately twenty minutes.

3. Aloe vera and curd
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons aloe vera gel
- 1 teaspoon curd
- 1 teaspoon of honey or lemon juice
Directions
- Depending on the type of skin you have, use honey for dry skin and normal skin, and lemon juice for oily skin and combination skin.
- Put the face pack on and leave it on for 10-15 minutes.
- Rinse it off with warm water.

How To Extract Aloe Vera Gel?
- Choose thick leaves from the outer sections of the plant and remove three to four leaves at a time. Make sure the leaves are healthy and free from mould or damage.
- Next, cut the stems close to the base, avoiding the roots. Finally, the leaves should be washed and dried.
- Use a knife to trim the prickly edges.
- Separate the inside gel from the outside gel using a knife, spoon, or fingers.
- Let the yellow sap drain from the leaf - this is aloe vera latex.
- If you intend to use latex, you may wish to store this in a container (you can dispose of the latex if you do not want to use it).
- Slice or cube the aloe gel and use it.
