Man Pulls On Train Brake To Get Cell Phone
A resident in New York was travelling in a train, but had accidentally dropped the cell phone. He pulled the emergency brake, bringing the train to a screeching halt. Though there was no harm done, he was charged with defiant trespass and interfering with transportation.
A Woman Faked Abduction To Avoid Christmas Parties
This woman was a fitness instructor who suffered from bulimia. She was scared to reveal this to her friends, hence faked abduction to avoid attending Christmas parties. Police searched the area franticallyand had even used helicopters and an underwater search team.
After 2 days, she returned and claimed that she had been kidnapped and raped. After the police found the truth, she was given a 12-month discharge and fined 100 pounds.
Man Calls In Bomb Threat, So He Won't Miss Plane
A man who was late for his flight was about to miss it. To avoid doing so, he called the airline and claimed to have overheard Arabic men saying there was a bomb onboard! The flight was halted, and all the passengers and bags were re-inspected. Later, he was arrested on arrival at the airport.
