Shahrukh on board committee of Jet Airways

Shah Rukh Khan will now be the board member of Jet Airways. Jet Chairman Naresh Goyal seems to have planned to add some glamour to his airline which incidentally has been in news for wrong reasons lately. The airline has suffered major losses due the failing of a meager deal with Air Sahara. Also, one of its employees is said to be a suspect in the recent Heathrow bomb blast plan which was unfolded by British Police.

King Khan, though, will now help Jet Airways with some business ideas and also add glamour quotient with his presence on board. This however, is not the first time that Jet has opted for a celeb to be a board member. Before this, Yash Chopra and Javed Akhtar have also been on the Jet's board committee.

Incidently, Namrata Goyal, daughter of Jet Chairman Naresh Goyal, was an assistant director for Don-The Chase Begins Again, which is Shah Rukh's next release this year. The film is directed by Farhan Akthar and will hit the theatres this Diwali.
