Do You Eat While Watching Cricket?
Do you eat while watching cricket? Well, then this post is for you. Watch cricket. Eat your food. Try to separate these two activities. It is okay to multi task in your office but not at your dining table. Humans have changed all their habits in the recent years and this includes even food habits. That is why obesity has become more prevalent nowadays.
Is eating while watching TV unhealthy? There are enough reasons to believe so. In fact, distracted eating isn't so healthy. Not just eating and watching TV but eating while you are working at your desk also isn't so good. If you are in a hurry or if your mind is seriously thinking about something else, you may not be able to give attention or thought to the food you are consuming.
What to eat while watching cricket? If you can't curb the habit, then try munching some raw vegetables like carrot or beet root while watching TV. Or try a salad. This may at least tone down the damage a bit because these foods are natural and healthy.

Weight Gain
Many studies have already confirmed that the risk of weight gain can be more if one is eating while watching TV. If you have any plans to shed extra pounds, it is important to eat with a focused mind and watch TV later on. Doing both of these simultaneously may be a bad idea.

Your Mood Affects Your Consumption
Yes, sometimes our moods dictate our eating habits. When your mood is joyful, you might feel like eating something to enjoy the feeling and when your mood is low, you might try to compensate the feeling with tasty food. Though this behaviour pattern is not common in everyone, it is better to be aware of such habits.

The Outcome Of The Match May Affect Your Mood
When you sit and eat while watching cricket, you may get carried away when your favourite team wins or loses the match. In such a situation, you will not be in a mood to take a look at how less you are eating or how much more you are consuming. This could be an unhealthy thing to do.

Distracted
Feeling distracted while eating can also be an unhealthy eating habit. Unless you are paying attention to what you are eating, how can you imagine to even shed weight?

Pay Attention To The Quantity
The quantity of food that you are eating also has its say in your weight gains. When you sit to watch TV, you are more concerned about the entertainment which makes you forget about the quantity of food you are consuming while watching TV.

What To Do?
Cultivate mindful eating habit. When you are hungry, go to your dining table and choose your food carefully. Eat healthy food in the right quantities and be aware of the activity of eating. Never get distracted while you are eating. Dedicate your dinner time only to dinner.
