Engagement Outfits For Bride-To-Be: Wedding Spcl
The wedding season is around the corner. In the month of November and December, many couples prepare themselves to tie the knot. Both the would be bride and groom get busy shopping for their big D day. Among Hindus, the marriage rituals and functions commence months before. However, the big events are engagement (roka), sangeet, mehendi and marriage ceremonies.
So the bride needs to shop for all these special marriage ceremonies. On each occasion she needs to look the best. For getting the perfect bridal look, the would-be bride starts flipping pages of fashion magazines, visits designer boutiques or start designing a rough sketch themselves. The craze is always seen in each and every bride. From outfits, jewellery, makeup to accessories, she wants everything to be perfect. So, the wedding shopping starts months before the D day.
Being in the centre of attention, the bride needs to look perfect and fashionable at the same time. As it is the biggest event in your life that will not come back again, you should be well prepared. Play with colours and designs and do not forget to try them once before the engagement.
Boldsky is helping you set up a style on the stage from engagement till marriage. Here is what the would-be bride should wear on her engagement.

Red lehenga
This is traditional Indian outfit for brides to be. In marriages, red is a spiritual colour. A not too heavily studded red lehenga will look simple and sober.

Pink saree
If you love sarees and want to flaunt your slim figure, try a light link coloured saree embroidered with silver or golden work. Pick up a nice blouse design.

Orange lehenga choli
The lehenga-choli has lovely golden embroidery all over it. The dupatta is of cream colour with a golden border and beads. Minimal makeup is perfect.

Green and pink lehenga
As mentioned, play with colours. This is a nice colour combination. Fish cut is perfect for the engagement.

Shaded saree
Esha Deol wore a pink net saree on her engagement. The bright green blouse, jewellery and colourful bangles finished the look.

The shy pink bride
Pink is a feminine colour. Brides can try dark or light pink. This lehenga is not too heavily embroidered so the bride to-be can try it on her engagement.

Anarkali suits
If carrying a saree is difficult, try anarkali suits. A heavily embellished anarkali suit is great for the engagement. Pick up bright colours to catch more attention.
