maasaru kaatchi yavarkku
Men of clear vision, who are free from delusions,
Will overcome darkness and attain final release.

They will surely be the people of real detachment and true renunciation, for 'they have seen the light". Only they will overcome the surrounding darkness of overwhelming delusion and attain release.
We may compare this with the connected ideas of 'Meyporul Kaanbathu' in Kural 355 and 'Semporul kaanbathu' in Kural 358.
