Right Conduct

Enrum idumpai tharum
Right conduct is the seed of virtue Bad conduct will lead one to grief.
Righteousness shall have its reward in this world and the next and so too, those who sow evil shall reap ruin. This is in keeping with the following biblical lines:
'Behold' the righteous shall be recompensed
in this earth much more the wicked and the sinner'.
(Proverb 11:31)
The word 'Nanri' has been variously interpreted as, 'good in this life and the next', 'heaven' and just 'all good', by Parimelalagar, manakudavar and Kalingar respectively. I have adopted the comprehensive line of Parimelalagar.
