In Hinduism, Padmini Ekadashi during Adhika Masa, Malmas and Puroshhottam Masa. When Ekadashi is observed on Shukla Paksha of Adhika Masam, it is known as Padmini Ekadashi. It is also known as Adhika Masa Ekadashi or Kamala Ekadashi.
Shravan Padmini Ekadashi 2023: Date, Time
Shravan Padmini Ekadashi will be celebrated on Saturday, 29 July 2023. On 30 July, Parana time will be 06:09 am to 08:48 am. On Parana Day, Dwadashi end moment is 10:34 am. Ekadashi Tithi begins at 02:51 pm on 28 July 2023 and Ekadashi Tithi ends at 01:05 pm on 29 July 2023.

Shravan Padmini Ekadashi 2023: Legend, Puja Rituals
Legend has it that Padmini, who is the queen of King Kritavirya had observed fast as per the rules and regulations in the month of Shravan and she was blessed with a son. Therefore, there is a belief that one who listens to the story of Padmini Ekadashi, they are rewarded with fame.
Also, according to Puranas, it is Lord Krishna who first told Arjun about Padmini Ekadashi fast and described its importance. This is the Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha which falls in the Adhika Masa and by observing this one also gets punya which is equivalent to a thousand years of penance by simply observing a fast. Also, they can get rid of sins, acquire name and fame, enjoy the pleasures of life, enjoy worldly pleasures and finally goes into Vaikuntha Dham.

On 29 July 2023, which is the day of Padmini Ekadashi, the auspicious time for Vishnu Puja is from 07.22 am to 09.04 am. This is an auspicious time. Apart from this, the auspicious time for Padmini Ekadashi Vrat Puja is from 12.27 pm to 05:33 pm in the afternoon.
Shravan Padmini Ekadashi 2023: Auspicious Yogas
Padmini Ekadashi will be celebrated in Jyestha Nakshatra and two auspicious yogas will be formed during this time. One is Brahma Yoga, which will be till 09:34 am and after that Indra Yoga will begin. Jyestha Nakshatra will also remain from morning till 11.35 pm, after that it is Mool Nakshatra.
Shravan Padmini Ekadashi 2023: Significance
There is a belief that by observing a fast on this day, one needs to worship Lord Vishu by following the rules and regulations. There is a belief that by doing this one can gain fame and Vaikuntha (eternal heavenly realm) is obtained. Also, for those who desire a child, their wishes can be fulfilled on this day.
