Navratri 2023 Day 5: This nine-day auspicious festival falls in the month of Ashwin and holds a special significance in Hinduism. This festival is celebrated with rituals, fasts, and prayers- all dedicated to Maa Durga, especially in the northern and eastern parts of the country. Nine different forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped on the nine days of Navratri. It is said that whichever devotee goes to Mother's court with full devotion, Mother takes away all the sorrows from his life.
On the fifth day of Navratri, Goddess Skandamata is worshiped. This year, Navratri has started on 15 October 2023, therefore, the fifth day of the Panchami tithi will be on 19 October 2023, according to Panchang.

Goddess Skandamata is considered to be the form of Goddess Parvati, the mother of 'Skanda' i.e. Kartikeya, i.e. Goddess Parvati. Worshipping Goddess Skandmata brings happiness and prosperity. Know in detail about the puja vidhi, bhog, mantra, and aarti on Panchami Tithi related to the Goddess.

Goddess Skandamata Aarti
