Mangala Gauri Vrat 2023: The month of Sawan is extremely special, especially for Lord Shiva devotees. This marks the monsoon in India and therefore, everything looks fresh and pious.

Vrat or fasts hold immense significance in Hinduism and therefore, Mangala Gauri Vrat is extremely special as it is done on Tuesday and is dedicated to Goddess Parvati, consort of Lord Shiva. This year, four Mangala Gauri Vrats will be observed as Sawan will be observed for 59 days. While three have already passed, the fourth one will be observed on 25 July 2023.

Mangala Gauri Vrat 2023: Date, Time

The fourth Mangala Gauri Vrat of Sawan and the second of Adhikamas will be observed on Tuesday, 25 July 2023. After this, the next Mangala Gauri Vrat will be held on 01 August 2023.

Mangala Gauri Vrat 2023: Puja Vidhi Or Worship Method

Women who observe Mangala Gauri fast should wake up early in the morning. After taking a holy bath, they need to wear clean clothes of auspicious colour. After this take a vow of fasting. Now spread a red-coloured cloth in a puja room. You need to install the idol or picture of Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva on it.

Offer red-coloured clothes and makeup to Goddess Parvati. You need to worship Goddess Parvati with complete rituals. One needs to keep in mind that the number of objects to be offered in worship should be 16. Then light a lamp of ghee and perform aarti of the mother. After this, listen to the fasting story of Mata Mangala Gauri. Tell your wishes to Mangala Mata and seek her blessings.

Mangala Gauri Vrat pacifies the problems and discord in marital life and brings happiness and prosperity. It is a belief that with the blessings of Mangala Gauri Mata even an empty lap gets filled. Along with this, along with the long life of the husband, one gets the boon of unbroken good fortune. Married women observe this fast for the long life of their husbands. On the other hand, unmarried girls observe this fast to get a good husband.
