oi-Amrisha Sharma

Disruptive behavior is common among school students. Students in higher classes belong to the growing age which makes them notorious due to which they tend to break rules and regulations.
Here are ways to deal with disruptive behavior disorder:
- If both your children are disruptive then don't let them study together. Try to maintain distance when it comes to education.
- Clear the rules and regulations on the first class. Ask the expectations of the students and express how you appreciate good behavior of students.
- Take examples of role models and exhibit the types of behavior you expect from students.
- Don't be linear while explaining the norms. Try to know their ideas and if possible use them for a healthy education environment.
- Notice the disruptive students and try to discuss about the distraction which is caused by them in the class. Talk with them privately or else they will not be affected. If this attempt of explaining doesn't help then scold them in front of the class.
- Ask the disruptive students to stay out of the class. If this is continued for few days or weeks, disruptive students will change.
- Make a contract and stick it on the classroom wall. Ask the students of the class to sign it every week to ensure that they are following the codes of behavior.
- Break the students into groups and don't let the disruptive students stay together.
- Change the sitting arrangement every week and check what you are doing is having impact or not.
Use diverse ways to get hold of disruptive students. Dealing with disruptive behavior requires patience and parents and teachers need to deal with it effectively.
