More Than Meets The Eye: Melania Spills On What Drew Her To Donald Trump
Melania, Donald Trump's third wife, former first lady and model is currently in the news for promoting her new memoir 'Melania', and she has detailed her support for 'abortion rights' in this book which seem to be in contrast with the views of her husband, former President Donald Trump. Last week , just a month before the big Election day, Melania shared her views on abortion. It was a pretty sensitive issue brought up by the former first lady just when the Democrats were trying to paint the former President as someone who would seek to ban abortion once he was elected.

The four magnetic qualities - Despite all this Melania sternly affirms that Donald Trump always knew about her ideology and beliefs since the day they met. In the latest social media video promoting her new memoir, Melania Trump recalls the moment they first met in New York City in 1998. Her exact words are "From the moment Donald and I met, there was an undeniable spark. There was something magnetic about him: his confidence, his charm, his humour, his vision".
Respect of beliefs and individuality - In an interview on Sunday, she addressed questions that asked her if she was worried voters may change their opinions of her husband just because of her views. Melania replies that she doesn't worry and everyone needs to decide what they want to do. She points out "He lets me be who I am, and he lets me believe what I believe. He lets me be my own person. And he does respect that, and I respect that as I let him be his own person. He has different beliefs and he will do what he believes."

Mirroring the very same comments, Donald Trump spoke to Fox News on Thursday, "We spoke about it, and I said, You have to write what you believe. I'm not going to tell you what to do. You have to write what you believe". He also added, "She's very beloved. People love our former first lady, I can tell you that, but I said, You have to stick with your heart. I've said to everybody, You have to go with your heart".
Donald Trump's caring side - In her book, Melania offers a glimpse into her relationship with her husband, and recalls she was attracted to Trump's magnetic energy at the Kit Kat Klub and resisted giving him her number. And despite their political differences Melania reveals Donald Trump calls her personal doctor regularly to inquire about her health and ensures she gets the best care possible.
In her book, Melania states how she got to know him better and that the public has only seen a portion of Donald Trump; she knows him as a gentleman who demonstrates thoughtfulness and consideration in personal life.
