Natural Postpartum Pain Relief For New Mothers!

Natural ways to get relief from postpartum pain:
- The uterus contractions after delivery is painful as it returns to its normal, non-pregnant size. If you have had two or more births, you can have an intense postnatal pain which can sometimes be worse than labor. Prevent the menstrual pain by taking a dose of 5 drops of liferoot tincture in water for two to four weeks post delivery. It relieves even the most intense menstrual cramps if taken two weeks before the date.
- Tender and painful breasts can be painful during breastfeeding. Apply cold cabbage leaves around the nipples for instant relief from breastfeeding, a common postnatal pain.
- Even sore or engorged breasts can be cured by applying warm or cold compress and taking warm showers. Keeping ice wrapped in a towel also a natural way to get relief from postpartum breast pain.
- To get relief from constipation or hemorrhoids, drink plenty of water and eat foods which are rich in folic acid and fiber such as fresh fruit and vegetables.
- Back and leg pain is a common problem postnatal so do Kegel exercises to reduce the postpartum pain and get relief. It also helps get over the extra pounds post delivery.
- To get relief from postpartum pain due to uterus contractions, add have natural herbs to your food like ginger, lavender, rosemary, cinnamon, ground cloves etc. even chamomile tea is a natural way to get relief from postpartum pain
Take rest to get relief from postpartum pain and avoid picking up heavy items as the uterus is weak and will take time to get back to its normal stage.
