A study conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation found that the largest part of the children's diet continues to be the television.
Kids between the age group of 8 - 18 years spend almost four hours a day watching, television programmes. This figure has gone up by 38 percent over the last five years.
On the other hand, the second largest category, music and audio accounts for almost 2 hours and 30 minutes of time per day.
Though Television continues to dominate kids, the nature of the TV contents continue to degenerate, which is again a matter of concern for the parents.
