Cure Diaper Rashes With Home Remedies

Home remedies for diaper rashes -
1.Open a cod liver oil capsule and apply the liquid to the affected area. It will cure the infection instantly. This should be practiced everyday before every diaper change to avoid rashes.
2.After cleaning the baby and before a diaper change, dust the affected area with powdered cornflour or arrowroot powder. This is a good substitute for talcum powder and reduced the chances of infection.
3.Chamomile and Lavender oil are healing agents. Dip a clean piece of cotton in the oil and wipe the affected area with it. This will heal the infection fast.
4.Everyday at night apply jojoba oil both to cure as well as prevent rashes from occurring.
5.Apply vegetable oil before putting on the next diaper. This treats the rashes quickly.
6.Put two spoons of baking soda in the bath tub and soak the affected area in it for 10 minutes. This will heal the rashes quickly.
7.Place tea bags in the baby diaper. When the baby passes urine a certain chemical is released from the tea bags which cure the rashes and also prevents further occurrence of rashes. The rashes will turn brown and heal within the next 24 hours.
8.Add some oatmeal powder in the bath water of the baby. This is one of the quickest method of healing infections.
9.Avoid washing the diapers in strong antiseptic lotion. They have chemicals which are harsh on baby skin. Rather soak the diaper in a bowl of hot water mixed with a cap of vinegar. After soaking wash it with mild soap and rinse it well.
10.Give the baby a warm water bath and then before putting on a diaper, apply aloe vera gel.
It is best to avoid nappy rashes as they make a certain part of the skin sensitive to rashes and keep occurring on that part making the skin dry. These ten tips will help you in keeping your baby safe from infections.
