Amazon India Fashion Week 2015: Highlights Of Day 1
AIFW 2015: Glamorous Day 1
India Fashion Week is organised and promoted by Fashion Design Council of India. It has been sponsored by Will's Lifestyle from 2006-2014 but from 2015 the official sponsor partner is Amazon. FDCI presents the spectacularly sparkling collection this year.
The freshness of this year's AIFW event gave a way for it to be more relative and glamorous. Designers like Rajesh Pratap Singh, JJ Valaya, Anju Modi and Kavita Bhartia were few of the designers who exhibited their collection on day 1. The spotlightgives the designers not only to exhibit it in India but also to reach out to the global buying audience.
Rajesh Pratap Singh opened the AIFW Autumn/Winter 2015 show with his hospital themed collection. As he belongs toa medical family and a human being starts and ends his/her life in a hospital, he dedicated this line to it. His deep understanding of the aesthetic of design fulfills his theme of this year's show.

Anju Modi's designs were magnificent. It was subtle yet glamorous. The detailed embroidery and layering did the right trick on her collection. With her fairytale theme her collection was very intriguing. The collection also brought forward the main theme of the show, i.e., Autumn/Winter.

JJ Valaya weaved the Indian aura with the Russian designs. His collection was flooded with shimmering lines of gold piping and veils and nets. It brought forward the Russian traditions merging with Indian designs. There was also a lot of head accessories teamed with his line.

Kavita Bhartia exhibited a very relaxed line this year. It was beautiful yet a very commercial one. Her collection was filled with flowing silhouettes merged with net and gorgeous embroidery. She chose a very soothing colours like blue, peach, yellow, white and cream but also dominated with black.

With bright hues of orange, yellow and cream Nikasha showcased her beautiful bright collection. With full bloomed spring here her collection was like an eye candy to the audience. The fabrics sewed with such intricate details was appropriate for every wearer.

Payal Singhal's exhibited a collection filled with crop tops and flowy pants and lehengas. They were of heavy and detailed embellishments. They were of pastel shades and a lot of sheer nets on them.
