Though being much increased with the popularity, the tech revolution has not come cheap. These digital equipments costs over 2000 dollars. The costs of education were increasing at a much higher rate than inflation.
In the countries like Australia, where the Government has rolled out laptop for the books,compact disks,laptop,mobiles,students, helps to ease the pressure of the parents. For the Australian school goers, the parents will have to shell out around 5232 dollars to educate a child in a government high school this year. The expense of studies in a systemic Catholic school will be around 11,100 dollars and in a private college, it will be 21,549 dollars, says the experts who conducted the studies.
Attila Lendvai, Assistant Principal of St Mark's Catholic College in Sydney, says that all the school's secondary books,compact disks,laptop,mobiles,students carried a 13-inch laptop in their bag. "It is empowering their learning and the way they investigate and present the materials," adds Lendvai.
