Punishment For Drink Driving A Toy Car!
Paul Hutton, a man from Essex, was stopped by the police outside his house, while he was driving an electric Barbie car. The 6 feet tall man was cramped inside the toy car with the knees right below his chin.
Hutton says that the car was designed for 3-5 year old children. He had put new bigger wheels on it, though the car is not fast.
Police detained him in a cell after he was tested to be driving with twice the permissible limit of drunken driving.
The court magistrates in Colchester said that he was a 'complete twit', when he was presented before the court. He was given a mandatory three-year ban as he had a drink-drive conviction, in previous history of ten years. He was fined 85 pounds and given a twelve-month conditional discharge.
“You have to be a contortionist to get in, and then you can"t get out. I was very surprised to get done for drink-driving, but I was a twit to say the least," says Hutton about the incident.
Hutton also says that he is not unhappy with the punishment, but surprised.
