She has achieved the feat when she reached at the summit of Annapurna, a series of peaks in Himalayas, which stands at 8091 metre. She has made it the 10th highest summit in the world record.
Annapurna is one among the 14 'eight thousanders'. Annapurna, at 26,545ft above sea level, was the last of the 14 Himalayan peaks above the 8,000-metre level she had wanted to conquer.
Oh Eun-Sun, 44, planted the South Korean flag on the peak of Annapurna, to establish the victory.
At present, Eun-Sun has defeated Edurne Pasaban, the mountaineer-rival from Spain, who was also seeking to become the first woman to scale all 14 peaks. Edurne Pasaban had only the Mount Shisha Pangma left on her list.
