A report has revealed that women in Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester are rushing to get fake eyelashes to copy the look of stars like Cheryl Cole.
According to Debenhams, girls are going to the extent of sporting three layers of false eyelashes to look more attractive.
The sales records confess that the sale of false eyelashes have increased by more than 1,000 per cent in the company"s stores.
Natural-looking glue-on strips cost 5-pound per pair and the extravagant 15 pounds are charged for lashes dotted with crystals.
“We have had to send emergency stock to certain stores to cope with the Friday and Saturday night demand," said Sarah Meadows, cosmetics buyer at Debenhams.
