How Is Your Blog Rated?

The reality sadly is different from your thought. A new study has found that quantity, not quality, of your blog posts that counts when it comes to online popularity.
This conclusion was reached at, after a research done by British researchers, who checked the the popularity of 75 bloggers.
Susan Jamison-Powell, the UK researcher, looked at the number of pals each blogger had, the number of posts they made, the total number of words written and the overall tone of the posts.
The bloggers were asked to rate how attractive they found each of their peer's blogs.
Jamison-Powell found that the more words a blogger wrote, the more friends they had and the higher was their attractiveness rating.
It was also revealed that the tone of their posts - whether they got positive or negative comments - had no effect on the reader.
The study was the part of the British Psychological Society's annual conference this week.
