In a survey, one in every three Aussies said that they would rather read than have sex, if they had an extra hour in the day.
Nearly 35 per cent of the 1,057 participants opted for reading, while only 20 per cent chose to spend time with their better half. Spending time not necessarily meant lovemaking though.
While women took the lead in reading, with 45 per cent saying they would choose a good novel, only 14 per cent said they would opt for some private time in their bedroom.
About 26 per cent men preferred an hour of romance, with 25 per cent favouring reading.
