pr firm Lucre came to this conclusion after conducting a study on four firms-a restaurant-The Chancery in London, an architect firm-architects and designers 3s in London, an advertising agency-Simone Perele UK, and a lingerie company in Surrey. The employees were asked to take a shower break apart from their daily wash. This shower break miraculously improved the mood and productivity of the employees.
After the shower break there was an overall boost in productivity and creativity of 42 per cent and 33 per cent respectively. Employees claimed that showering gave the some peace and quiet. The hardworking staff members are on their feet for long shifts in what is a hot and hectic environment.
Shower breaks made sure they took time away from the restaurant to refuel and freshening up their feet with a shower also offered them physical benefits which made them work more effectively in the restaurant. Lucre conducted the survey for client Mira Showers.
