University Notes- Shopping Spree
The entry into the University life had many lessons to teach us for our personality development. The first difficulty that we faced in our initial days was with the financial management. We, who used to spend money under the guidance of our parents found that money is flowing like water from our new bank accounts.
As any teenager we were struggling to match up with the trend of the time with the money that our parents benevolently put in our accounts. When we started to realize that our needs won't meet with the money in our bank account, many of us joined call centers or other part time jobs to keep up with the status. Others like me wisely shrank into the feminist or genius symbols of cheap kurtas and jeans.
The next hurdle in our financial management was collecting the much needed accessories. Since refrigerators and washing machines were limited to foreign students as in any other Indian university, we soon had to collect small cooking utensils and washing pots.
