MTV VMA: Best n Worst Dressed

MTV Video Music Awards 2013 (also known as VMA) was a glitzy event. Every year, celebrities try some punk fashion on the VMAs red carpet. From different outfits to hairstyles, MTV VMA was filled with fashion rulers and also few disasters.

If we take a look at the MTV VMA 2013 red carpet fashion, very few celebrities have impressed us. Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Ciara, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Iggy Azalea, Holland Rollen etc were best dressed at the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 red carpet.

But there were a few fashion disasters as well. We expected a lot from the cute Katy Perry. However, the singer shocked us by roaring on the red carpet. Katy Perry wore a knee length leopard print thigh-high slit dress. The dress had golden stone studded dragonflies on the bodice. Katy Perry looked odd due to the golden studded braces (grills on the teeth).

Miley Cyrus on the other side was another worst dressed celebrity at the VMAs 2013. Firstly, she looked outdated in this bejeweled Dolce and Gabbana crop ensemble. Her two side knots looked kiddish. Apart from disappointing us at the red carpet, Miley also gave an 'adult only' performance on the VMAs stage.

Lady Gaga on the other side kept it simple on the VMA 2013 red carpet. The singer wore a custom made leather floor sweeping Prabal Gurung gown at the MTV VMA 2013 red carpet. As expected, Lady Gaga bared a lot of skin at the 'Applause' performance. She wore a thin oyster shell bikini bra with flower panty!

Selena Gomez: Best

The 21-year-old singer was one of the best dressed celebrities at the VMAs red carpet. Selena wore a thigh-high side slit navy gown that had a sheer bustier.

Taylor Swift: Best

Taylor looked gorgeous as she walked the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 red carpet. Taylor wore a deep plunging Hervé Léger by Max Azaria gown. She looked like an old glam, and the vintage hairdo and cheery lipstick looked perfect!

Rihanna: Best

We thought bad girl RiRi will bare some skin as always! But Rihanna surprised us by carrying the rapper look. She was dressed in a white rapper tee shirt with denims. The golden grills and red lips looked stylish.

Ciara: Best

Ciara looked breathtaking in a sheer Givenchy Fall 2010 Couture gown at the MTV VMA red carpet. The gown had fur frills at the bottom. She was one of the best dressed at VMAs red carpet 2013.

Lady Gaga: Best

We think that the black leather floor sweeping custom made Prabal Gurung gown looked nice on the pop singer. However, the shell bikini bra and floral panty were disastrous!

Katy Perry: Worst

What is wrong with Katy? She is looking like a golden leopard at the VMA red carpet. And why these golden braces?

Adriana Grande: Best

Adriana brightened the red carpet of VMA 2013 by wearing a pretty floral pouf-sleeve silk mini dress by Kenley Collins.

Jennifer Hudson: Best

The Oscar winner was one of the best dressed celeb at the MTV VMAs 2013 red carpet. She wore a high waist Dior leather skirt with strapless monochrome print top.

Ellie Goulding: Best

Ellie wore a high collared thigh-high slit nude gown that had golden spikes on it.

Holland Roden: Best

'Teen Wolf' star Holland Roden was another best dressed celebrity at the VMAs 2013. She is wearing silver mirror beaded bateau-neck tee shirt with champagne silk faille open ballskirt over cigarette pants by Naeem Khan.

Erin Wasson: Worst

The model showed-off a lot of skin in this see-through Alexander Vauthier gown. She left very little to imagination!

Lil Kim: Worst

Lil Kim keeps wearing worst outfits at the VMAs red carpet. Be it the controversial 1999 outfit or 2013 leather black see-through dress. She was one of the worst dressed at MTV VMAs 2013.
