The official verdict on the Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth situation was that they have broken up. In the last 5 months, no cameras could catch Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth together. Be it an event or just a casual evening together, the couple were never spotted together. We never got an official statement regarding the break up of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. But as the couple was leading different lives, we assumed that Miley's engagement was finally called off!

But guess what, we have all been proved wrong. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were spotted going on a movie date at Arclight cinemas on Monday evening. The couple were totally dressed down. Miley was not in costume with her ultra-revealing tops or over-the-top accessories. Instead she was in rugged denims and a simple tee-shirt. Liam too was at his casual best.

The couple seemed to be having a very run-of-the-mill movie date! The onlookers said that Liam was actually cooing up with Miley Cyrus! Now we still don't know whether Miley Cyrus's engagement with Liam Hemsworth is on. We can only rely on the fact that Miley told a magazine recently that she still wears her engagement ring and is very much engaged to Liam. Its just that she has decided not to talk about her personal life any more.

When Miley first said this, the entire media thought that she was still in denial. She could not come out of the shock that she and Liam had broken up. When Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth postponed their wedding indefinitely, everybody thought it was an unofficial declaration of their break up! But this young couple has proved everyone wrong. They are actually taking it slow and not rushing to the alter but that does not mean they are not together!
