Sandal – the Mysore sandalwood products are very famous in the international market. The incense, medicinal products, beautiful handicrafts, soaps, cosmetic products and perfumes made out of Sandalwood are widely exported. The fragrance of the wood and the oil extracts are simply unmatchable.
Ivory – Indian Ivory carvings have been famous since ancient times. The expensive Indian product, from centuries, was carved in Murshidabad, West Bengal and their ancient magnificent ivory work is been exhibited in Victoria Memorial, Kolkata. The Elephant tusk (Ivory) carving is also prevalent in Mysore, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
