Soon, Worlds Tallest Skyscrapers In Dubai

Dubai is ever-enchanting with its shopping malls, amazing architectures and lifestyle. After having enticed the world with its various delightful wonders, it is all set to create another one.
Dubai, with its many beautiful man-made islands, is now looking forward to building the world's tallest skyscraper . The project is being planned by Dubai developer Nakheel, the company that created the man-made islands in the shapes of a palm tree and the world. The company has revealed that the structure will be the centrepiece of an inner-city harbour planned as the emirate's unofficial capital.
The exact height or cost of the Islamic design-inspired Nakheel Tower has not been revealed, but the building will have "more than 200 floors" and will be part a of "a multi-billion pound development", the company said.
"From our perspective, we are building a tower that's going to be over a kilometre in height. This is a complete iconic development. It may be the tallest," the Telegraph quoted Nakheel chief executive officer, Christopher O'Donnell, as saying.
Construction of the tower and harbour will take more than 10 years to complete, and apart from the landmark structure, there will be another 40 towers, ranging in height from 20 floors to 90 floors. The entire development will be home to more than 55,000 people and a workplace for more than 45,000.
The new iconic tower is going to mark another breakthrough in the architectural world.
