Celebrity West Hollywood Restaurant In Ramsay Style!

The restaurant will be located in The London West Hollywood hotel (formerly the Bel Age Hotel), part of the LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels collection, and is nestled amid the Hollywood Hills, just steps from the pulse and excitement of the Sunset Strip. Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood, a sister restaurant to Gordon Ramsay"s two Michelinstarred Gordon Ramsay at The London in New York, will offer a distinctive concept fashioned for the sophisticated glamour and energy of Los Angeles, with an exquisite West Coast-inspired menu and unparalleled level of service. Gordon Ramsay and his team will head up all dining offerings at The London West Hollywood, providing the discerning traveler with an incomparable experience to any other hotel in the city.
Gordon Ramsay has adapted his signature style to suit the sunny climate and cosmopolitan vibe of Los Angeles, with several different menu offerings all inspired by California"s fresh produce. Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood will feature a changing variety of market specials, several a la carte dishes, as well as a three-course lunch menu and six-course Tasting Menu for dinner.
The restaurant"s contemporary cuisine is Western European with subtle Asian influences, highlighting the freshest and finest season ingredients sourced from the region. Market specials include California spiny lobster, white port sauce; West Coast halibut, Kumanmoto oysters, champagne veloute; and Rack of Sonoma lamb, live crusted Fingerlings. A la carte dishes include Pacific yellow fin tuna with pickled daikon, crab beignets, sesame soy dressing; Sauteed sea scallops, 'wild rice," cauliflower puree, sherry caramel; and Artic char poached in dashi, black barley, pickled Japanese mushrooms. Taking advantage of its location on the coast, a sushi menu will also be available featuring fresh fish and seafood from the Pacific.
"I'm thrilled to be opening in Los Angeles, as I've spent a lot of time in the city and have always enjoyed it, particularly its pace and energy," says Gordon Ramsay. "I'm looking forward once again to collaborating with LXR. I'm particularly excited to work with the produce that's available on the West Coast – the quality is absolutely fantastic and perfect for our menu. I think the Californian approach to food is quite similar to mine: fresh ingredients cooked simply and therefore packed with flavor."
