Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber is set to perform at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding event tonight. The Ambani family has engaged numerous entertainers for their pre-wedding celebrations over the past months. According to reports Bieber may have earned a staggering $10 million for his private performance at the NMAC Centre in Mumbai.

Staggering Paycheques And Star Studded Guests

This paycheque surpasses what businessman Mukesh Ambani has paid other superstars. Rihanna reportedly earned between $8 million and $9 million for the couple's pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar in March. Akon charged an estimated $500,000 for his performance at their after-party. Katy Perry also performed for Ambani's guests during a grand cruise party.

Other notable performers included the Backstreet Boys, Pitbull, and singing legend Andrea Bocelli. Bieber's $10 million fee exceeds his usual performance rates, which typically range from $2.5 million to $6 million for private events. Booking agents Seattle Entertainment Group confirmed that the singer charges a minimum of $2 million.

Reports suggest rapper Drake and singers Adele and Lana Del Rey are also expected to perform at next week's pre-wedding ceremonies.

Upcoming Highly Anticipated Ambani Wedding

The highly anticipated wedding will see Anant, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, marry Radhika, daughter of Indian industrialist Viren Merchant. The ceremony is scheduled for July 12, with several lavish celebrations planned beforehand.

There is speculation that Rahul Gandhi and his mother Sonia Gandhi might attend the wedding on July 12. Mukesh Ambani visited Sonia Gandhi's residence at 10 Janpath to extend an invitation to the Gandhi family. Earlier, he also invited Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to the ceremony.

Bollywood superstars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, and Katrina Kaif are expected to attend the wedding. These stars were also present at the Sangeet ceremony on Friday.

The celebrations began with a three-day extravaganza in Jamnagar in March, followed by a cruise party in Italy and the South of France in May. Over the past few months, the couple has hosted low-key celebrations for their friends.
